Ex-Minister, Prince Adegoroye, Hails Appointment Of Kenneth Odusola GM/CEO OSRC

Sam Philip

Former Minister of State for Transportation, Prince Ademola Adegoroye has commended the appointment of Mr. Kenneth Odusola as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Ondo State Radio vision Corporation(OSRC).

He described the decision of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in appointing Mr. Odusola as a right step in the right direction.

Adegoroye stated that he met Odusola in 2003 and during their interaction he observed Odusola as a hardworking, loyal, reliable and calm.

He expressed confidence in the expertise of Odusola in turning around the state-owned media organization.

The former Minister charged Governor Aiyedatiwa to ensure the station is adequately funded for it to compete favourably with its contemporaries.

He noted that the major focus of the new management, besides highlighting government programmes for the people, it should find a place for the television station on DSTV.

In his congratulatory statement, Prince Adegoroye said: “I met Mr. Kenneth Odusola while he was PA to Chief Mrs. Mobolaji Osomo while she served as Hon Minister for Housing in 2003.

“He’s hardworking, loyal, reliable, and ever calm. He has immense experience and maturity.

“I congratulate Mr Governor for finding Mr Odusola as the right man to bring the lost glory of OSRC back.

“Mr Governor should be focused on empowering and strengthening the OSRC so it can perform its functions and obligations to Ondo State and ultimately get OSRC a channel on DSTV.

“Apart from being able to serve the Aiyedatiwa government and subsequent government in terms of highlighting government activities and bringing them to the attention of the populace and also ensuring that government will be able to fudge the feelings of the people, getting OSRC a Channel on DSTV will widen the revenue base of the organization and ultimately make it self-funding on the long run if well run as expected under the leadership of Mr. Odusola.

“Mr Odusola will surely bring his wealth of experience to bear in running the OSRC.”
