Super Eagles Players Who Won Trophies This Season

The 2025/2026 season ended on a high note for several Nigerian internationals, with a number of Super Eagles stars lifting major domestic titles across Europe.

From league triumphs to cup success, these players played key roles for their respective clubs during the campaign.

1. Victor Osimhen — Galatasaray (Turkish Super Lig)

Victor Osimhen played a major role in Galatasaray’s Turkish Super Lig triumph, delivering crucial goals throughout the season as the Istanbul giants reclaimed the league title.

The Nigerian striker remained one of the standout performers in Turkey during the campaign.

2. Zaidu Sanusi — FC Porto (Taça de Portugal)

Zaidu Sanusi added another domestic trophy to his collection after FC Porto won the Taça de Portugal.

The left-back continued his successful spell in Portugal, where he has already established himself as one of the club’s dependable defenders.

3. Raphael Onyedika — Club Brugge (Belgian Pro League)

The Super Eagles midfielder remained influential for the Belgian side with his energy, ball-winning ability, and composure in midfield.

4. Kelechi Iheanacho — Celtic (Scottish Premiership)

Kelechi Iheanacho celebrated league success with Celtic after the Scottish giants secured another Scottish Premiership title.

The Nigerian forward added another major honour to his career as Celtic maintained their dominance in Scotland.

5. Terem Moffi — FC Porto (Taça de Portugal))

Like Zaidu Sanusi, Terem Moffi won the Portuguese league title with Porto after joining them on loan from Nice in January of 2026

6. Francis Uzoho — Omonia (Cypriot First Division League)

Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho ended the season with a trophy after Omonia won the Cypriot league.

The Super Eagles shot-stopper continued his successful spell in Cyprus with another domestic honour added to his career.

7. Frank Onyeka — Coventry City (EFL Championship Playoffs)

Frank Onyeka also enjoyed success after helping Coventry City secure promotion to the Premier League through the EFL Championship playoffs during his loan spell from Brentford.
