The Nigeria Police, Niger State Command, has reiterated preparedness to chase out armed bandits from the State.
Unfortunately, the incessant activities of armed bandits were making some communities in Niger State inhabitable to locals.
Already, the Commissioner of Police in Niger State, CP Ebenezer Shawulu Danmaman, in a statement on Tuesday, said he has drafted men of the Special Tactical squad of the command to comb the communities mostly affected.
The ceaseless activities of armed bandits in Munya, Shiroro,Rafi and Mariga Local Government area of Niger State in the last five years had displaced villagers from their homes.
The mostly affected communities in Munya local government area include Gidanwaya,Guni and Sarkin Pawa.

He explained that the Command along with other security forces had taken the battle to the forests where the activities of the armed bandits is prominent to dislodge them.
The total onslaught launched against them has started yielding the needed result as the joint team of Tactical squad of the command and other security agencies has dislodged the armed bandits.
According to the Commissioner of Police, men of the Special Tactical squad of the command will continue to chase the armed men out of the hideout in the forest “until we totally dislodged them from the forest”
The Commissioner requested the support and cooperation of locals with relevant information on the operational activities of the armed men ” for us to make their lives inhabitable for them”.
However, it was gathered as a result of the incessant deadly activities of armed bandits in Gidanwaya Guni and Sarkin Pawa, a 35years old digital artist Emphraim Adayilo Gwamna abandoned his family.
He told Journalists that he has lost his beloved ones to the gunmen that have hitherto taken over his community.
