A group,Agbebiye’ in Ondo State, have declared their support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the forthcoming November 16 governorship election in the state.
Aiyedatiwa, who is the governorship candidate of the APC, will slug it out with a former deputy governor of the state, Agboola Ajayi, who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and some other candidates of different political parties participating in the election.
The Agbebiye, in all the 18 local government areas of the state, therefore, declared that all measures have been put in place to vote massively for the success of Governor Aiyedatiwa.
Rev. Yemisi Adesanmi and Prophetess Aderonke Ayodele, Leaders of the group, expressed the readiness of the group to comb through the nooks and crannies of the state to canvass massive votes for APC.
According to them, the group would work for the victory of Aiyedatiwa as the Governor of Ondo State.
Speaking in the same vein, the Convener of the group and former Special Assistant to Governor Mimiko on Abiye Safe Motherhood, Yeye-Oge Funmilola Oluwadare, also known as Alhaja Way, said the group had resolved to mobilize grassroots support and vote for Governor Aiyedatiwa to ensure a landslide victory.
She said ” It is the resolution of the group to mobilize its members in all the 18 local governments of the state to support the Governor in winning the election “
While Oluyemi Daramola, the Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Mobilization declared that Aiyedatiwa, has what it takes to create very sharp impact for the good people of Ondo State in the next four years.
