The Deji and paramount ruler of Akure land, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi has installed High Chief Boluwaji Ajayi as the Olu of Arijodi/Ologunmolare community in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The First Class monarch disclosed that the installation of Ajayi as the Olu of Arijodi/Ologunmolare community was possible due to the cooperation and support of the family who chose him.
Oba Aladelusi, who is the Chairman of Ondo State Council of Obas, reiterated his desire to ensure peace, unity and security of lives and property of all residents of Akure land by supporting government programmes in the state.
He said with the support for the Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa-led administration in the state, there would be mass development across the 18 local government areas of the state.
Speaking at the palace of Deji immediately after his installation on Thursday, the pioneer Olu of Arijodi/Ologunmolare community said his installation would attract development to the community as he would be giving the Deji and paramount ruler of Akure land information on the needs of the people of the community.
He appreciated Oba Aladelusi for his support for the families in ensuring the processes of choosing the Olu is strictly followed
The Olu of Arijodi/Ologunmolare community noted that with the cooperation of his chiefs and the residents of the community, they would list all social amenities that need to be provided by government without delay, particularly primary health facilities, and submit it to the Deji for onward transmission to the state government.
He noted that all the families of Arijodi and Ologunmolare are united and are working towards the development of the community.
The Olu, therefore, assured that with his installation, meetings would be regularly held with his chiefs and residents for concerted efforts in attracting government’s presence into the community in terms of provision of infrastructure facilities.
