My Biggest Regret Is Not Treating Women Better – Rapper, Future

Fatimah Otunsanya

Famous American rapper, Nayvadius DeMun Cash, widely known as Future, has revealed that his biggest regret is not loving and treating women better.

Future, who has nine children from different women, explained that the reason for his struggles with romantic relationships was due to a lack of male role model while growing up.

Speaking in an interview with Hot 97 FM, the music star said growing up he never saw his mother receive genuine love from any man.

“My biggest regret in life is, I should have loved harder. I should have found a way to love the right way.

“I came from nothing and I didn’t have a person or a male role model to show me how to treat a woman. I have never seen someone buy my mum a flower,” he expressed.

Future said his past relationships were his only means of learning about relationship dynamics.

He, however, noted that he is not using childhood trauma to justify how poorly he handled some of his past relationships.

He added that he was now focused on learning from his mistakes and making better decisions.
