JANDOR Picks APC Governorship Expression Of Interest And Nomination Forms


…Reaffirms Loyalty To Party

The campaign team of Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran JANDOR has revealed that he has formally purchased the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest the governorship election in Lagos State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

This step, they said, reflected.Dr. Adediran’s disciplined adherence to the party’s established processes and his unwavering belief in the internal democratic mechanisms of the APC.

He reiterated his full alignment with the party’s official position on the adoption of direct primaries for all elective offices, and expresses confidence that this approach will further deepen participatory democracy, strengthen party cohesion, and give every member a sense of ownership in the emergence of candidates.

These were contained in a statement by his spokesperson, Mr Gbenga Ogunleye, on Wednesday.

Dr. Adediran reaffirmed his profound respect, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to the National Leader of the APC and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

He equally extended his highest regards to the leadership of the party in Lagos State, its distinguished elders, and all recognized leaders whose guidance continues to shape the progressive ideals of the APC.

While expressing deep appreciation to party leaders and all stakeholders who have graciously endorsed him as their preferred aspirant, Dr. Adediran also acknowledged with utmost respect, the legitimate rights of other leaders and stakeholders who have chosen to support other aspirants.

He emphasized that such diversity of opinion remains a hallmark of a vibrant and democratic political party.

Furthermore, Dr. Adediran extended heartfelt gratitude to the leadership and members of the JAGABAN–JANDOR 2027 Movement, the coalition of young Lagosians, and the broad spectrum of supporters who voluntarily contributed their “widow’s mite” towards the procurement of the forms.

He commended their remarkable sense of ownership, selfless sacrifice, and sustained confidence in his competence, capability, and capacity to advance and consolidate the progressive trajectory of Lagos State.

JANDOR assured all party members and the people of Lagos State that his aspiration remains anchored on unity, inclusiveness, and the continuous pursuit of excellence in governance under the banner of the APC.
