The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has ordered the Commissioner of Police, Katsina State to commence weekly training of officers in the command for them to be in tune with the development in the state.

He gave the order on Monday while on official visit to the state Command.
The Police chief said all officers and men of the command should be undergoing training weekly to keep them abreast of development in the area for them to be able to fight crime in the state.
Egbetokun,who commended the command for the feat achieved despite the challenges being faced, urged them to perform the duties with fear of God.
Speaking on the retirement benefits of officers and men of the formation, the IGP assured that “We are getting cooperation from all stakeholders and we are very optimistic that government is going to support us to achieve what we are planning for the retirees.”
