Ondo State Fire Service on Thursday averted what would have been a colossal loss if lives and property in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area of the state but for its prompt arrival at the scene of accident involving a fully loaded Premium Motor Spirit(PMS) tanker.
The tanker, which sources said fell while navigating the Ore flyover, spilling its content.
Firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after it occurred ,and immediately commenced cooling operations to prevent any possible ignition.
The employed strategic safety measures to ensure the situation is brought under control.
Their timely intervention has so far averted what could have been a major disaster in the bustling town of Ore.
