HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile (Rtd.), Avwaeke I, Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom, has sought divine blessings for his kingdom as he hosted Rev. Samson Ejarogan, the General Leader (Osu) of the Baptist Soul Winning Band of the Nigerian Baptist Convention. The visit came ahead of the three-day Miracle Crusade, “Abraka for Christ 2025,” themed Only Jesus Can Save, scheduled from Friday, March 21, 2025, to Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Ojeta Secondary School, Abraka, involving all Baptist Churches in Abraka and surrounding areas.
During the visit, Rev. Ejarogan emphasized the importance of informing the king of their presence in his domain, particularly as he himself is a Baptist member. He stated that they had come to seek the king’s blessings and support for the crusade.
In response, the elated Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka expressed his gratitude for the visit, describing it as timely. He affirmed that divine approval had already been granted for the crusade, coinciding with the kingdom’s festival period and the observance of Ekeli Igbele, a time of introspection and acknowledgment of human imperfections. The king further noted that before the Ovwuvwe Festival and his anniversary celebration, all churches in the kingdom observe Umiaghwa Prayer Day. This year, churches held their prayers individually, and the upcoming crusade would further bring spiritual blessings upon the kingdom.
The king urged the Baptist Soul Winning Band to pray for:
The kingdom’s continued prosperity and divine protection
Delta State and Nigeria, particularly regarding economic hardship,
Good governance and the well-being of the people
He wished the organizers a successful and impactful crusade and encouraged the community to embrace the divine message.
A significant highlight of the visit was the presentation of a Holy Bible to HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile (Rtd.), Avwaeke I, by Rev. Samson Ejarogan (JP), symbolizing divine authority and spiritual guidance.
The Salvation and Miracle Crusade will feature powerful ministers from Baptist Churches across Nigeria, including Rev. Solomon Mrore, famously known as “The Demon Bulldozer of Our Time.” The event is expected to draw a large congregation seeking spiritual renewal, healing, and divine intervention.
The Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom anticipates abundant blessings from this crusade as it aligns with its cultural and spiritual observances, reinforcing faith, unity, and divine favor.
