A Lagos State High Court has restrained Nollywood actress, Elizabeth Lawal, popularly known as Lizzy Anjorin, from publishing or circulating photographs of the one-year-old son of actress Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux.
The ex-parte order was granted on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, by Justice Yetunde Adesanya of the High Court of Lagos State, sitting at the Lagos Judicial Division, in Suit No. LD/ADR/6646/2026.
The suit was filed by Priscilla Ojo (referred to in the order as Mrs Priscilla Ajoke Ojo Mkambala), her husband, Juma Mussa Mkambala, and their son, identified in the order as Master Rakeem Mkambala, against Anjorin.
According to the certified true copy of the order shared by Priscilla on Instagram on Friday, the court restrained Anjorin, whether by herself, her agents, privies, representatives, employees or any other person acting under her authority, from “publishing, posting, circulating, uploading and broadcasting” the child’s pictures on her social media pages, including Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok.]
The order read in part, “An Order of this Honourable Court restraining the Respondent either by its agents, privies, representatives, employees, officers or any other person or group of persons howsoever described and/or under the Respondent’s authority from publishing, posting, circulating, uploading and broadcasting the 3rd Applicant’s pictures on the Respondent’s social media pages namely on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Tiktok… pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice in this suit.”
The order specifically listed accounts allegedly linked to Anjorin, among them @lizzyanjorin_originallawal, @lizzyanjorin_original, @lizzyanjorin_legal_mrslawal, @yeyemesho_luxuryfabric1, and a Facebook page named Lizzyanjorin2.
The court also restrained Anjorin from broadcasting, publishing or posting “editorials” concerning the applicants on the same platforms, pending the hearing and determination of a substantive Motion on Notice in the suit.
The court further ordered: “An Order of this Honourable Court restraining the Respondent either by its agents, privies, representatives, employees, officers or any other person or group of persons howsoever described and/or under the Respondent’s authority to cease and desist broadcasting, publishing and posting editorials on the Applicants on the Respondent’s social media pages… pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice in this suit.”
The order was granted ex parte, meaning it was heard and decided without Anjorin being present or heard, as is standard for urgent interim applications of this nature.
It remains an interim measure pending further proceedings.
The court further directed that the case file be returned to the Registry of the High Court of Lagos State for reassignment to the appropriate division.
The order was signed and sealed by the Legal Registrar, Omokhudu-Omahoin Onivenu, and issued under the hand of the court on September 2, 2026
The development is the latest in a long-running public dispute between Anjorin and the family of Priscilla’s mother, actress Iyabo Ojo, which has played out on social media over the past two years and previously included a ₦1bn defamation suit filed by Iyabo Ojo against Anjorin.
Anjorin had, in recent public comments, made unverified claims disputing the child’s parentage. PUNCH Online could not independently verify those claims, and they do not form part of the court order reviewed for this report.
Rakeem, whose full name is Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, was born in Canada in August 2025.
As of the time of this report, Anjorin had not publicly responded to the court order.
