Deborah Akinyosoye

Nigerian singer Burnaboy’s latest album, No Sign of Weakness, has reached the top spot on Nigeria’s Apple Music chart, just hours after its official release on Friday.

The 16-track project, released on July 11, follows a pre-order campaign that began on June 18. Burnaboy unveiled the album cover and launch date on his verified Instagram account, describing the release as the beginning of a new chapter.

The album features collaborations with several international artists, including Travis Scott on TaTaTa, Mick Jagger on Empty Chairs, Stromae on Pardon, and Shaboozey on Change Your Mind.

To accompany the release, the artist also announced a global tour via his Instagram page, though specific tour dates have yet to be disclosed.

Reactions to the album have been widespread across social media platforms, where users praised the production and creative direction.

Comments such as “He put in enough work,” “ODG for a reason,” and “Another album of the year plaque” have trended across Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), underscoring the strong reception from fans.

No Sign of Weakness is Burnaboy’s eighth studio album and continues his run of commercial and critical success on global music platforms.
