Making good their threat to protest against bad governance and state of emergency in Rivers State, some protesters were dispersed in Port Harcourt on Monday by the police.
The protest organised by Take It Back Movement, Niger Delta Congress and the Rivers Civil Society Organisation was truncated by the police.
The protesters had converged as early as 6am on Isaac Boro Park around before they were disrupted around 7.30 am, shortly after the protest began.
The police had warned against the planned protest which coincides with the grand finale of Police Week.
