The annual Free Medical Outreach For All of the Otunba Yomi Akingbade Foundation (OYAF) has been slated for tomorrow, Thursday, October 10, 2024.
The event will hold at the Akure Town Hall, Old Garage Areas, Akure, Ondo state capital.
Less-privileged and indigent people with various health challenges are expected at the event.
The health programme of the charity organisation is to assist a lot of people to solve their health challenges.
OYAF also organises the medical event to educate and enlighten people on how to live a healthy lifestyle and prevent diseases.
The Foundation is involved in donating drugs and medical equipments to selected hospitals.
It is known for providing funds for the payments of medical bills incurred by indigent and less-privileged patients.
The programme is expected to be graced by the Ondo state governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, and other dignitaries.
OYAF was founded by Otunba Yomi Akingbade, a scion of the popular Akingbade family in Akure and America-based public administrator and businessman, to assist the less-privileged people.
Otunba Akingbade, who is also the Chairman of Aladewe Group of companies and publisher of NigeriaTodayTimes newspaper, is known for his belief in giving back to society.
