Arsenal teenager Max Dowman has claimed another significant record after becoming the youngest player ever to win the English Premier League title.
He achieved the remarkable feat after Arsenal secured their first Premier League crown in 22 years following Manchester City’s draw against Bournemouth on Tuesday.
This marks another record for the 16-year-old midfielder following his debut in August 2025, which made him the youngest player in Premier League history at 15 years and 235 days old.
After scoring a late goal to seal a 2-0 win at home to Everton in March, he became the Premier League’s youngest scorer at 16 years and 73 days and in November 2025 he became the Champions League’s youngest player at 15 years and 308 days.
Dowman will officially receive a medal after meeting the minimum requirement of five league appearances during Arsenal’s title-winning campaign.
By the final day of the season, Dowman will be aged 16 years and 144 days, comfortably surpassing the previous record held by Phil Foden, who won the Premier League with Manchester City in 2017-18 at 17 years and 350 days old.
The Arsenal academy graduate’s rise has been one of the biggest breakthrough stories of the season in English football.
Dowman now joins a rare list of teenage Premier League winners, including former Arsenal stars Nicolas Anelka and Gaël Clichy.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has carefully integrated Dowman into the first team this season, with the midfielder making all five of his Premier League appearances from the bench.
Despite his age, the teenager has shown composure, technical quality and maturity beyond his years, qualities that have quickly made him one of the most talked-about young players in Europe.
