Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has moved up the UEFA Champions League all-time top scorers chart, now sitting in joint 6th position alongside Bayern Munich legend Thomas Muller.
The 26-year-old France international achieved the feat after scoring twice in Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Marseille at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
Before the game, Mbappe had 55 goals in the competition. His latest brace takes his tally to 57 Champions League goals, further cementing his status as one of the most lethal forwards in European football.
Mbappe is now just behind Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema, and Raul Gonzalez in the prestigious scoring list.
