Meanwhile, Amupitan will also hold his first official meeting with directors of the commission today
This is according to a notice issued on Wednesday by INEC’s Deputy Director of Publicity, Wilfred Ifogah, on behalf of the Director of Voter Education and Publicity.
According to the notice, the meeting will take place at 1:30 p.m. in the INEC Conference Hall in its headquarters.
“In view of the above, members of the INEC Press Corps are invited to cover the opening ceremony of the event,” the notice said.
Tinubu had explained that Amupitan was picked based on his apolitical stance, integrity and impeccable record of service.
