Retirees of the Federal Civil Service under the auspices of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners Contributory Pension Scheme have commended the President, Bola Tinubu for paying attention to their welfare.
The pensioners at a mega rally held at the Mini campus of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State on Friday commended the present administration for the attention paid to their welfare, especially in terms of the prompt payment of their entitlement.
Speaking at the rally, which attracted thousands of members from adjoining states of Kogi, Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, Edo, and some Southeast states, the Kwara State Chairman of NUPCPS, Dr Henry Omotosho, said that the event was organised to express appreciation to the President for what “Almighty God has used him to do for the retirees.”
