As the Ondo State off-circle gubernatorial election gets near, the New Nigeria People’s Party(NNPP) Olugbenga Edema, has written an open letter to the people of the state.
The letter reads: Dear Ondo State citizens, It is just six days to the all-awaited poll, where our collective efforts at the ballot will be a reasoning point for a decisive result.
Your resilience in the face of hardship is appreciated, but it is a duty for us all to choose our freedom or decide to remain in the hands of the oppressor who only cares about their belly.
They are preparing to roll out enough funds and food to buy your conscience at the poll.
The federal government palliatives were sent to the state but hoarded in their secret places without distribution is an indication of their plan of using this to entice the citizens during this period as the ruling party is aware of the serious rate of hunger in the land.
Let us be ready to take our destinies into our own hands and reject the money-bag politicians who only promised without fulfilling but going about dancing over our hardship and keep using poverty as a weapon to weaken us from making a proactive decision.
Ondo state shall be great again through the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) of Olugbenga Omogbemi Edema era.
