In an admirable show of love and solidarity, Special Adviser to Ondo state Governor, Comrade Bola Taiwo, Ondo Commissioner for Local Government and chieftaincy affairs, Hon Amidu Takuro and other prominent stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress in Odigbo Local government have today championed a rally to campaign for the APC Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates in the Odigbo Local Government election.
Also, the APC Chairmanship candidate in the forthcoming Odigbo Local Government election, Hon Adegoroye paid a courtesy visit to Monarchs of Araromi-Obu and Ayesan communities under Odigbo Local Government, where he received Royal blessing from the monarchs.
Earlier, Odigbo local government chairman of APC, Alhaj Fatai Olawale urged voters to come out en masse to exercise their franchise without duress.
Peak Newspaper Nigeria observed that the APC rally spanned major areas of the Odigbo Local Government, including Koserun ward, Oniparaga ward, Ago Alaye ward, Araromi Obu ward and Ayesan ward.
During his speech at the APC rally in Koserun ward, the APC Chairmanship aspirant in the Odigbo Local Government election, Honourable Taiwo Adegoroye vowed to repair dilapidated roads in the area, to ensure smooth transportation for farmers and other commuters.
Also, during the APC rally at Oniparaga ward of Odigbo Local Government, Odigbo APC Campaign Director General, Hon Dimeji Abimibola appreciated the people of Oniparaga for supporting the Ondo state Governor-elect, Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the last Gubernatorial election in Ondo state.
Special Adviser to Ondo state Governor, Comrade Bola Taiwo Urging the people of Araromi-Obu to vote for Taiwo Adegoroye as Chairman, Odigbo Local Government, Abimibola asserted that “you have always been our backbone. There is no APC without you. Local Government is an essential level of Government and Taiwo Adegoroye is the beacon of hope in Odigbo Local Government, support him.”
Ondo Commissioner for Local Government and chieftaincy affairs, Honourable Amidu Takuro appreciated the people of Ayesan for voting for Aiyedatiwa. He also appealed to them to support Adegoroye as Chairman, Odigbo Local Government.
