As more condolence messages pure in, the management and entire team of Sunshine Stars Football Club of Ondo State have extended their condolence messages to Kano State government over the death of athletes in a ghastly road accident.
The statement signed by Isaac Afolabi,
Media Officer, Sunshine Stars FC, reads: “We extend our heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Kano State over the tragic loss of athletes, journalists, sports administrators, medical personnel, and other members of your contingent at the just-concluded 22nd National Sports Festival held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
“The news of their passing came as a devastating shock to us.
“These individuals were not only representatives of your great state but also national heroes who served with dedication, talent, and an unwavering commitment to the spirit of sportsmanship.
“We join the rest of the nation in mourning their loss and pray that the Almighty God grants eternal rest to the departed souls and provides comfort and strength to the families, friends, and colleagues they leave behind.
“Please accept our deepest sympathies during this difficult time.”
