Nollywood stars turn up in Ekiti community for Odunlade Adekola’s father’s wake

Top Nollywood stars turned up in Otun Ekiti as popular actor, Odunlade Adekola, held a Christian wake for his late father, Pastor N.A. Adekola, on Tuesday.

The cleric, who died in July at the age of 84, is being laid to rest with a series of ceremonies across Ekiti and Ogun states.

The Service of Songs was held on August 18 at Christ Apostolic Church, Akole, Abeokuta, while the Christian wake and lying in state took place yesterday, August 20 in Otun Ekiti.

Interment is scheduled for Today, August 21 in Otun Ekiti, followed by a thanksgiving service and reception on the same day.

Stars such as Ibrahim Chatta, Muyiwa Ademola, Eniola Ajao, and Ireti Osayemi were among those who joined colleagues, family, and well-wishers to pay their respects.

Odunlade, who first announced his father’s passing on Instagram in July, has since been receiving an outpouring of condolence messages from fans and colleagues.
