Former Deputy Governor and the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) for the November 16 off-circle gubernatorial election in Ondo State, Hon. Agboola Ajayi has called on Nigerians, particularly the people of the state, to work together for the unity of the federation and transforming Ondo State.
In his congratulatory message to the people of the state on Tuesday in celebration of the nation’s 64th Independence Day anniversary.
The former deputy governor in the statement he personally signed, he tasked the people on seizing the opportunity presented by the November 16 off-circle gubernatorial election to vote for him to transform the state.
The statement reads in parts: “Today, we celebrate our nation’s 64th independence anniversary. I, Alfred Agboola Ajayi, gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo State, felicitate with you all on this auspicious occasion.
“As we mark this significant milestone, I reaffirm my commitment to the oneness of Nigeria, where fairness, equality, and justice reign supreme. Every citizen, regardless of background or tribe, deserves a level playing field to thrive.
“To the people of Ondo State, I urge you to exercise your franchise and elect a government that truly represents your interests. My vision for our beloved state includes: Free and Quality Education up to secondary school level; empowering our youths for a brighter future.
“Free Health Services for our children and elderly, ensuring their well-being and dignity.
“Infrastructural Development: transforming our state’s infrastructure to drive growth and progress.
“Agricultural Revamp: Unlocking enormous wealth through innovative farming practices and initiatives.
“As we strive for a better tomorrow, I implore you to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and vigilant. Let us collectively raise our flag, embracing our diversity and promoting unity.
“Together, we can achieve remarkable growth and development in Ondo State.”
