Nigerian actress and reality TV star, Beverly Osu, has said she believes her years of work in the entertainment industry should have made her a billionaire by now.
Osu made the statement during a recent episode of Ghacha’s Chough podcast, where she spoke about her career, earnings, and the challenges she says she has faced in the industry.
According to Beverly Osu, her work across several areas of entertainment should have placed her among the wealthy figures in the sector across Africa. However, she said this has not happened because she has been underpaid for many years.
During the conversation, Beverly Osu explained that her portfolio and experience across different roles in entertainment justify her belief that she should have earned much more by now.
“I have worked so hard, my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire not just in Nigeria but in Africa.
“I am a very humble person but I know that my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire.
“So, I am fighting for better wages. I have tried different facets of the entertainment industry. From being a luxury model to video vixen to reality TV star and now actor. I have paid my dues,” she said.
