The July edition of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise will hold across Ondo State this saturday, July 26, 2025.
The state Commissioner for Environment, Dr Tob Loko, disclosed this on Wednesday in Akure, the state capital.
He said the exercise is with restriction of vehicular and human movement between the hours of 7am and 10am.
According to a statement by the General Manager, Ondo State Waste Management Authority, Mr Omowole Adefolaju, the commissioner urged residents of the state to take advantage of the period to clean up their surroundings.
Mr Omowole warned that anyone found engaging in other activities during the environmental hour would be arrested and prosecuted accordingly.
He assured residents of Ondo State of the present administration’s commitment towards a clean and disease- free Ondo State.
