Governor, Ondo State, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has commiserated with his Akwa Ibom State counterpart, Governor Umo Eno, on the passing of his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Eno.
The news of the death of Mrs. Patience Eno was announced on Friday morning by the State Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong.
According to the Commissioner, Mrs. Eno died during a brief illness on Thursday night, September 26, in a hospital in the presence of her family.
In his condolence message to Governor Eno on Friday, made available to newsmen by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Aiyedatiwa, the governor expressed sadness over the unfortunate demise of Mrs. Eno, describing her death as a great loss to the Church of God, Akwa Ibom State and the country.
Governor Aiyedatiwa said: “Your Excellency, I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing of your beloved wife, Her Excellency, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Eno.
“My heartfelt condolences to you, the family, loved ones and the good people of Akwa Ibom State during this difficult time.
“Her selfless service, compassion, and dedication to the welfare of the people will never be forgotten. May her legacy continue to inspire and uplift future generations.
“May God grant you strength, comfort, and peace in this time of grief and may her soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
