The senior Pastor, Second Coming Of Christ’s Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has been appointed as the Special Adviser to the Gospel Musicians Association of Nigeria ( GOMAN), Ondo State chapter.
This was contained in a letter signed by the Ondo State GOMAN Governor, Evang. Funke Akinbinu Kosekunmo.
According to the letter, the association’s Elders-In-Council, State Executives, and Zonal Leaders unanimously adopted the cleric as the Special Adviser.
His appointment was said to have stemmed from the impacts he had made in the lives of people in Ondo State, Nigerian and internationally.
The letter of appointment reads in parts:
“The Elders-In-Council, State Executives, and Zonal Leaders have unanimously chosen you as GOMAN State Adviser.
” This came as a result of positive impacts you have made in the lives of people in the society both locally and internationally.”
In his acceptance letter, the maverick cleric known for critical analysis of government policies, promised to give his best for further development of the association.
He appreciated the leadership of the association for considering him for the task.
Pastor Giwa said: “Last night, I received a letter of appointment as SPECIAL ADVISER to the Gospel Musicians Association of Nigeria ( GOMAN), Ondo State Chapter.
“I humbly accept this position, and I am ready to give my best for the association.
“Let me use this opportunity to thank the governor , Evang. Funke Akinbinu, Pastor John Ola Oni, my father in the Lord, Evangelist/Snr. Pastor Ebenezer Ologunowa and all the state and zonal leaders of GOMAN for believing in me.”
The induction has been slated for September 5, 2025 at Adegbemile Cultural Centre, Akure.
