Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja has granted the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) a final forfeiture order for a wide range of properties and funds believed to be proceeds of unlawful activity.
The seized assets include Galaxy Hospital in Maiduguri, five petroleum stations across northern Nigeria, residential and commercial plots in Abuja, Borno, Nasarawa, and Niger states, as well as a total of ₦333 million traced to multiple corporate and individual bank accounts.
The ruling comes after no parties stepped forward to claim ownership during the court-mandated public notice period.
