The Delta State Commissioner for Health, Dr Joseph Onojaeme yesterday received the Leaders and the entire members of Soft Delta, Isoko Nation on a familiarization meeting in his country home in Ovrode Community in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Leader of Soft Delta in Isoko Nation , Comr Odogbo Kingsley Oke who spoke on behalf of the group stated that the visit was on a familiarization course to introduce members of the group to the Patron of the group who also doubles as the State Commissioner for Health. He further stated that the visit was to galvanize support from the 24 Wards in Isoko Nation towards the re_election of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori come 2027.
Comr Odogbo while speaking during the visit commended the State Commissioner for Health for transforming the Health sector in the State and by extension the Governor’s developmental and infrastructural works within two years of His administration as Governor of Delta State.
Dr Onojaeme in a swift response thanked the Leaders and Members of Soft Delta, Delta South for the visit. He lauded the group’s support towards Governor Oborevwori and urged not to relent in supporting our working Governor in achieving the MORE Agenda for the State.
He appreciated the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for the establishment of College of Health Technology, Ovrode, the road infrastructure and many more projects of the governor being sited in Isoko Nation.
He further stressed the fact that the Isoko people will reciprocate this noble gesture of his excellency by re-electing him come 2027 under the platform of the All Progressive Congress to finish strong with his more agenda for Deltans.
The high point of the event was the presentation of a portrait to the Commissioner, to appreciate him for all his numerous support as the Grand Patron of the Soft Delta.
