As part of the activities to celebrate the tenth coronation anniversary of the Deji of Akure, the Chairman of the Central planning committee , Femi Meshe has paid a visit to the Governor of Ondo State, Hon . Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa at the Governor’s office in Akure.
The Chairman made the visit as part of final preparations for the 10th coronation celebration of Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, the Deji & Paramount Ruler of Akure Kingdom.
He also used the avenue to officially present the invitation card to the Governor as Special Guest of Honour.
Mr. Meshe thanked the Governor for all his support so far especially for Akure sons and daughters as well as the Monarchy.
”We are so grateful for your support. My people were here few weeks back to officially inform you and get you involved in the celebration of the Big Ten of our respected Kabiyesi. I heard and have seen all the good promises you made. We are so grateful”, Mr. Meshe stated.
The Chairman was also at the Governor’s office to thank him and also remind him of all the events as the Chief Host of all dignitaries that will be coming to the State for the celebration.
In his response, Governor Ayedatiwa reiterated his promise to be fully involved in the celebration by providing logistics and moral support.
Finally, He also thanked the Chairman and his team for the wonderful work in making the scheduled events a success not only for Akure but for the entire state.
The Governor promised that most of the requests of the committee will be attended to as soon as possible while some such as the construction of the market road will commence as soon as the weather becomes favourable.
Present at the meeting were the Ondo state Deputy Governor, Hon. Olayide Adelami mni, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Prince Olusegun Omojuwa and the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Mr. Femi Meshe was accompanied by Senior High Chief Sola Adegbonmire, Chief Mrs Banke Adesida and Mr. Adeyeye Michael.
