Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that young forward Lamine Yamal is ready to feature in the team’s upcoming La Liga match after a two-week rest during the international break.
Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday that Flick said, “I think Lamine Yamal is ready for tomorrow. He’s been working very well, and I’m pleased with that. I think it was good for him to rest from games these past two weeks.”
The break has allowed Yamal to recover both physically and mentally, with Flick praising the young forward’s progress in training. His return provides a boost to Barcelona as they prepare for a crucial stretch of matches in La Liga and beyond.
Flick also gave updates on other key players. Winger Raphinha has returned to full fitness and will start from the bench, with the coaching staff monitoring how many minutes he can safely play. Midfielder Pedri’s recovery is progressing step by step, but it remains uncertain whether he will be available for Barcelona’s next clash against Chelsea.
