The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 17, AIG Ajani Musibau Omolabi has paid a courtesy visit to the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III.
The visit is meant to strengthen police-traditional authority relations, foster community policing and enhance public safety.
AIG Ajani emphasized cultural institutions’ role in maintaining peace and order; appreciated the Monarchs for their continued security support and sought further collaborations.
The Monarchs appreciated AIG Ajani’s gesture, reaffirmed commitment to partnering with police, and called for increased police presence and proactive measures to aid security efforts in the area.
