…Unveils Projects

Member of the House of Representatives currently representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Otunba Timehin Adelegbe, on Monday disclosed that the numerous projects he executed have positive impacts on the lives of the constituents.
He explained that the projects which he executed in the last 5 years in his constituency have turn around the lives of the beneficiaries.
The federal lawmaker stated this while briefing journalists on his stewardship in the last five years at the National Assembly.
Reeling out several projects he executed, which include, school renovations and construction of laboratories and new blocks of classrooms, skill acquisition centres, and bursary awards for students, he said there are some other ongoing projects to improve the education standard in the Constituency.
Speaking on his efforts in the agricultural sector, he disclosed farmers have also benefited from his programmes which include distribution of improved cocoa seedlings, tools, and training in modern techniques.
He appreciated the people for the trust and confidence they reposed in him by electing him twice to represent them.
Adelegbe disclosed that he has distributed over 100,000 improved cocoa seedlings, over 200 water pumps, over 2500 weed spraying pumps and chemicals to boost agriculture.
He also revealed that he has empowered thousands of market women, youths, and artisans through financial aid, work tools, and business grants to boost economic activities.
On infrastructure, he grades intercommunity roads annually and bridges were constructed. He also facilitated installation of solar lights in several communities in the constituency.
According to him, “Over 150 youths were trained on fish farming with starter packs and N30,000 and aside that over 500 sewing machines, over 350 Generators, over 300 Dryers, over 350 Motorcycles and over 200 head dryer were distributed.
“Cash grants of 20,000 to N100,000 was given to over 3,000 youths and market women among others.”
The state Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr Ade Adetimehin who was in attendance, said the party is proud of Hon. Adelegbe for his numerous developmental projects.
He described the federal lawmaker as a distinguished lawmaker who is interested in the welfare of his constituents; saying “i have witnessed many of his empowerment programmes in Owo and Ose. You are doing well and our party is proud of you.”
