The Host Community of Nigeria (HOSTCOM), Ijaw Youths Chapter, Delta State has commended Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemukpolor a.k.a. Tompolo’s Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, TSSNL, for ably securing critical oil and gas assets in the Niger Delta region.
The body also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for awarding the pipeline surveillance security contract to Tantita just as they further charge the president to expand the contract scope for a more effective protection of oil and gas pipelines across the country.
In a statement obtained on Tuesday, the President of Ijaw Youths Chapter of HOSTCOM, Okrikpa Prince and Hon. Oliver Mala applauded the effectiveness and efficiency of Tantita in executing their job that has successfully raise the nation crude oil production from a paltry 600bpd to over 1.8mbpd currently.
The statement revealed that through the effort of Tantita in reducing illegal oil refining activities in the creeks, the riverine people now enjoys clean waters for fishing, drinking and other aquactic activities, the rivers are now less polluted by oil and the environment more friendly to support the flora and funna of the surrounding environs.
HOSTCOM Ijaw Youths wing therefore task President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on sustaining the Tantita contract services, even as it urges Tompolo to ensure that Tantita remain focused, steadfast, effectively efficient in ensuring they discharge the onerous task of safeguarding Nigeria’s oil and gas critical assets.
