FUNAAB Mourns Passing of Pioneer Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nurudeen Adedipe

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is in mourning following the passing of its pioneer Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nurudeen Olorunimbe Adedipe, who died today, November 13, 2024.
 
Prof. Adedipe, a distinguished academic and administrator, was just weeks away from celebrating his 84th birthday.
 
As a mark of respect, the university community has expressed deep sorrow, recognizing Prof. Adedipe’s significant contributions to the institution’s foundation and development. He was instrumental in setting the vision and academic direction of FUNAAB, leaving a lasting legacy that continues to shape the university.

In accordance with Islamic rites, his burial is scheduled for tomorrow, November 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. Funeral arrangements are underway, with family members, friends, and the academic community expected to gather to pay their final respects.
