AFCON Qualifiers: Ghana, Algeria, others to clash on matchday three

The race to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 intensifies as Matchday 3 kicks off today, Thursday, 10 October 2024.

Teams from across the continent will be competing for crucial points in their quest for a place in the prestigious tournament.

Group J features a clash between Namibia and Zimbabwe, with the game set to begin at 13:00 GMT. Both teams will be eager to improve their positions in the group with a victory.

At 16:00 GMT, Group C will see Cape Verde take on Botswana. In Group H, DR Congo face Tanzania, while Group F will witness Ghana battling Sudan in matches that could have significant implications for qualification.

Later in the matchday, Group E sees Algeria up against Togo at 19:00 GMT. The same kick-off time applies to the Group L matchup between Burkina Faso and Burundi.

The competition to secure a spot in the next round of AFCON Morocco 2025 qualifiers is expected to be fierce, with each team striving to guarantee their place.
