One Year of Impact: APC Chieftain Applauds Aiyedatiwa’s Performance in Ondo

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Femi Meshe, has congratulated the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on his one-year anniversary in office, commending what he described as “remarkable developmental strides” across the state.

In a statement issued to journalists, Meshe said the governor’s first year in office has been marked by purposeful leadership, infrastructural renewal and renewed confidence in governance.

He noted that the administration has made significant progress in road construction and rehabilitation across the three senatorial districts, including key urban and rural roads in Akure, Ondo, Owo and other communities, aimed at improving connectivity and stimulating economic activities.

According to the APC stalwart, the governor has also strengthened the healthcare system through the upgrading of primary healthcare centres, recruitment of medical personnel and efforts to enhance service delivery in state-owned health institutions.

Meshe further pointed to ongoing interventions in the education sector, including renovation of public schools and attention to workers’ welfare, as evidence of the administration’s commitment to human capital development.

He added that the government’s support for agriculture, through the distribution of farm inputs and promotion of mechanised farming, as well as initiatives to attract investment into agribusiness and small-scale enterprises, reflect a deliberate strategy to diversify the state’s economy.

“Within one year, Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated administrative capacity, calm leadership and a clear vision for the development of Ondo State. The impact of his policies is being felt across communities,” Meshe stated.

While urging residents to continue supporting the administration, Meshe expressed optimism that the coming years would witness greater transformation and consolidation of ongoing projects.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the APC to back the governor in delivering what he termed sustainable growth, improved infrastructure and expanded economic opportunities for the people of Ondo State.
