Popular Nigerian actress Nkechi Blessing has confirmed the arrest of the woman who took a photo of her at the gym.
NigeriaTodayTimes recalls that a viral picture of the actress working out at the gym stirred mixed reactions online, with many body-shaming her.
Reacting to the ridicule, Blessing stressed that she goes to the gym to stay fit, not for fashion shows or the runway.
However, speaking on the Honest Bunch podcast, the actress, who broke down in tears, lamented being body-shamed.
Announcing the arrest of the woman, Nkechi accused her of taking a photo of her at the gym without her knowledge to body-shame her natural figure.
She explained that the gym management initially withheld the woman’s information before her arrest was secured.
“I wear clothes that make me comfortable. You get BBL and you dey snap me that has a natural body. Are you stupid? iFitness hid her information, but I found her and got her arrested,” she said.
