The management of Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade, hosted representatives of Nervego Ltd. in a strategic meeting centred on collaboration and capacity-building for young innovators within the institution.
The session led by the Rector, Dr Sanni Kehinde Oseni, brought together key stakeholders, including Deans, Heads of Departments and Nervego executives to discuss the establishment of a Nervego Tech Community on campus; an initiative designed to nurture talent, develop technical capacity and unlock innovative potential among students.

During the meeting held in the Rector’s office, Nervego outlined its vision to train, mentor and develop students into globally competitive software engineers, AI thinkers, product managers and digital creators.
The proposed community program seeks to provide structured learning, hands-on development experience and direct access to industry-driven tech opportunities.
The Rector and management expressed enthusiasm toward the initiative, acknowledging the immense value it holds for the institution and the future of its students.
The leadership recognised the Nervego program as a timely opportunity to connect young minds with professional mentorship, tech exposure and digital skill development that aligns with global innovation trends.
The engagement highlighted shared goals from both parties to build a community where young developers can learn, innovate and evolve into world-class problem-solvers.
Oseni commended Nervego executives for taking an interest in empowering students and expanding tech ecosystems across Nigerian institutions. The school management also affirmed their readiness to partner with Nervego in creating an enabling environment for tech skill development and future-driven innovation.
With plans underway to launch the first phase of the tech community, both teams are optimistic that this collaboration will produce a new generation of high-impact developers capable of shaping Nigeria’s digital future from the classroom to the global stage.

The meeting ended successfully with a note of thanks to Mrs Mahmood Zainab, Head of Department, Computer Science, Engr.
