Veteran Nollywood actor, Oyewole Olowomojuore, professionally known as Baba Gebu, has died.
Baba Gebu reportedly passed away on Wednesday evening after a brief illness.
Announcing his passing, popular movie director and actor Kunle Afod, in an Instagram post, described the deceased as a “great legend.”
It saddens my heart as I announce the passing of our great legend, a great actor who passed away after a brief illness. BABA GEBU, may your soul rest in peace,” Afod wrote.
Reacting to the sad news, actor Yemi Solade wrote, “May GOD forgive his shortcomings, accept and rest his soul in eternal bliss. Amen.”
Actor Akin Olaiya wrote, “Rest in peace, Baba.”
Actress Saje wrote, “May his soul rest in peace.”
Actor Abiodun Thomas wrote, “Rest on, Pa Olowomojuore, may God continue to bless all that you left behind.”
Sharing a heartbreaking emoji, actress Shoa Kosoko wrote, “Rest in peace, Legend.”
