The Big Brother Naija Season 10 house was thrown into suspense on Saturday night as show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, made a surprise entry after the weekly party.
On entering, Ebuka engaged the housemates in a light-hearted exchange. “Is our season good?” Kola asked him, to which Ebuka replied that he had just two weeks to find out, before adding with a smile, “but is it really just two weeks?”
When the housemates pressed him about their wager, Ebuka remarked that since Big Brother was absent, it was the viewers who had rewarded them with the win.
The evening soon took a dramatic turn as Thelma Lawson and Bright Morgan were evicted.
Ebuka told the remaining housemates that with only two weeks left in the competition, they had enough time to make a difference in the game.
The eviction caught fellow housemates off guard, with some struggling to come to terms with the sudden departure of their friends.
Mide, Bright’s in-house lover, broke down in tears following his exit, while Kaybobo, who had grown close to Thelma Lawson, appeared visibly downcast.
However, not all housemates were convinced the eviction was real, with Kola, Rooboy and Jason expressing doubts about its authenticity.
The double eviction has heightened competition among the remaining contestants, bringing them one step closer to the N150 million grand prize.
There are now 15 housemates left in the house, with some enjoying immunity shields, including Zita, Faith, Rooboy, and Imisi.
The eviction has also sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some fans expressing heartbreak and others celebrating the surprise twist.
