A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Dada Eminence, has Nigerian youths to reject any form of antics to use them as puns for actualisation of selfish ambition by any politician in 2027.
He gave the charge on Wednesday while hosting some of his friends in commemoration of his birthday celebration.
Eminence noted that youths constituted the largest percentage of the nation’s population, saying politicians are exploiting them to actualise their selfish ambitions.
Eminence, who is aspiring to contest for the National Youth Leader of the party, cautioned youths to be wary of the ongoing scheming by politicians who are jumping from one political party to another for the actualization of their political ambitions.
He said it is imperative for youths to be aware of the fact that most of such politicians didn’t factor in the youth in their ambitions but rather see them as tools to actualise them.
According to the APC chieftain, “Youths should be wary of all these politicians currently jumping from one political party to another now that 2027 general election is drawing closer.
“It is an incontrovertible fact that youths constituted the largest population of this nation, that the reason most politicians target them in the actualization programme of the ambitions.
“But youths must be careful and focused on what they really desire in the country and ensure this is enshrined in the manifesto of the party.
“They must assess the existing government policies and see how these are explored for the actualization of their visions and dreams rather than running after politicians who will use them to carry out their inordinate operations.
“I would rather implored them to key into the series of socio-economic policies of the present government and make best use of them for actualisation of their visions and dreams.”
